Instrument-based Vision Screening
Vision loss from amblyopia (lazy eye) affects 4.5 million children in the US. The American Academy of Pediatrics endorsed the use of automated instrument-based vision screening in a recent policy statement published in Pediatrics. Our office has invested in this technology for our patients offering instrument-based vision screening as part of our preventative "well-child" exams starting at six months of age.
