Pediatrics

The late and beloved Dr. Daniel H. Williams, known to all as "Dr. Dan," founded The Farm Pediatrics in the early 1970s. To make children feel comfortable when they came to see the doctor, The Farm Pediatrics was in fact situated on a working farm. Children enjoyed visiting the animals whenever they came to visit Dr. Dan.

Dr. Dan received a bachelor of science degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 1960. He earned his master's degree in medical microbiology from Hahnemann Graduate School in Philadelphia, received his doctorate of medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1967, and completed his medical internship and residency at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC.

Achieving the rank of Major in the U.S. Army, Dr. Dan served in Germany from 1970-1973.

While we no longer share our location with farm animals, Advocare The Farm Pediatrics is still committed to making children feel comfortable in everything we do. In memory of Dr. Dan, we continue to be a medical practice that furthers his mission and, we hope, would make him very proud.
