Dr. Michelle Russ earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Duquesne University in 2007, and in 2011 received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Russ completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2015.

Dr. Russ was born in Marlton, NJ and is happy to see that her journey in medicine led her back to Marlton in July 2015, when she joined Advocare The Farm Pediatrics. Dr. Russ is affiliated with Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey.
